In order to clarify Walden Cluster’s window replacement options, the Walden Board recently worked with Reston Association’s Design Review Board (DRB) to refine the window alternatives available to Walden residents. If you are interested in replacing your existing windows, please refer to Section 13, Windows, of the guidebook to review the options available for your townhouse. And remember that all window replacements require the submittal and approval of a DRB application by Reston Association.
The updated guide is linked below, and it is also available in the left frame using the “Cluster Design Standards” link.
Walden Cluster Design Standards (August 2014)
The Walden Cluster Board of Directors has provided a new design standards guide for our neighborhood. The new document is available below, as well as in the “Cluster Design Standards” link on the left side of this page.
Walden Design Standards Quick Reference Guide 4.20.2013
As you may know, Reston Association requires that most exterior changes to your home involve the submittal of an application to Reston’s Design Review Board (DRB) for review and approval of the proposed exterior work prior to execution. Additionally, Walden Cluster has a set of DRB-approved design standards for basic items such as exterior paint colors, light fixtures, address plaques, etc. These standards have been updated and are available here and in the Cluster Design Standards link on this page. Prior to any exterior changes, all residents are encouraged to contact the Walden Cluster Board of Directors.
